One of the most important parts of planning for a photo shoot is working in fun details. Since we love when our clients plan their outfits down to their favorite shoes, a special pair of earrings, etc., we had our outfits planned well in advance. I asked for my outfit as my anniversary present. (My shirt, vest, and tie came from Express, my jeans from Old Navy, and my shoes from Jos A. Bank.) Rosalind choose a dress from NY and Co (and got it for only $12!) and planned to wear some shoes and jewelry from her own closet. However, while we were shopping on Centre Street Saturday morning, we fell in love with new accessories. Her jewelry came from Pineapple Patch and her shoes from Go Fish. As an aside, the jewelry was handmade in Africa and the workers were paid fair market wages. Cool stuff. And, special thanks to Shannon at Two Blondes and A Guy Salon for working Ros in right before our trip.
Anyway, the weekend was so relaxing and a lot of fun. The pictures below were taken by Jennifer Higginbotham on our D300 and we can't wait to see the ones out of her camera. Thank you again, Jen, we enjoyed it! You made it a pleasure. :) Make sure to visit her blog.
We thank God everyday for giving us each other. Just as was preached at our wedding, God created us for each other. He made us perfect in every way for each other.. strength for each weakness. We pray that God allows us many, many more years together!!
